3spell -- biography/about:
3spell is a San Francisco band weaving a magical mix of virtuosic musicianship, exotic melodies, and stunning performances. The band consists of:
Eliot Bates, oud, bass, and vocals
Lila Sklar, violin and octave violin
Tobias Roberson, percussion
Their acclaimed album "Music for Ultra Gypsies," featuring a mix of original tunes and innovative covers of traditional repertoire, has been used for dance choreographies and belly dance teaching throughout North America.
3Spell disbanded in 2004, with each of the members going on to pursue their other musical engagements.
