Kaderci -- biography/about:
For 8 years, Kaderci has explored issues of cartography, acoustics, and the history of recording in an audial fashion. Kaderci recordings are research, research into how we hear things from the past. The sounds of Kaderci include field recordings, though processed to focus the attention on particular, beautiful, unique aspects. Kaderci's soundscape also includes performed and treated acoustic instruments, including many from the "Middle East" and India, and others of Kaderci's invention and construction.
Kaderci only occasionally performs, though they have received critical acclaim for shows at the Santa Barbara Noise Festival, at Berkeley's CNMAT, and at other private events.
